Jenny is a passionate educator with over 20 years leadership experience in Christian Schools. She has enjoyed the past four years working as Head of Primary, supporting staff and parents as they teach and care for the students, with the aim of achieving growth in every area of their lives spiritually, academically, socially and physically.
As Jenny moves into the Acting Principal role this year, she is excited to celebrate and build on areas of strength within the College and further develop community connections both within the school community and beyond. As the educational sphere undergoes ongoing change and challenges, she is keen to support staff as they develop relevant, engaging programs to ensure the needs of students are catered for in each classroom. Jenny is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with students in an authentic way, encouraging the hope and joy He brings. With a commitment to embedding the College values of love, courage, compassion, faithfulness and generosity in all that is done, to ensure our students feel welcomed, supported and equipped as they grow.
Jenny feels blessed to be part of the College and wider Kingston community and enjoys being part of a local church and spending time with extended family and friends. Still a child at heart, Jenny enjoys playing board games, watching movies, building Lego with her grandchildren, and exploring new places. Being part of the Southern Christian College team has been all she hoped for and she is excited about the coming years of anticipated growth at SCC.
