Southern Christian College is a BRIDGE School operating under the Asia Education Foundation’s Australia-Asia BRIDGE School Partnerships. The programme involves Australian and Indonesian teachers sharing in in-country experiences at each other’s school, building links across countries and cultures that will benefit their students.
At Southern Christian College, our BRIDGE engagement includes an annual school trip to Indonesia where senior students have the opportunity to interact face-to-face with their peers, sharing aspects of our culture, language, sport, art, faith and outlook. Importantly, students are also able to celebrate their shared humanity and common experiences as young people in different cultures.
