Quality education for a better world.

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers high quality programmes of international education to a worldwide community of schools. There are more than 1.3 million IB students in 153 countries. The IB is a non-profit education foundation based in Geneva, Switzerland that originally provided university entry qualification. Today it offers three programmes that cover the years of formal education: Diploma Programme (Years 11/12), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP).

These three programmes for students aged 3 to 19 help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.

SCC has been accepted by the IBO as an IB World School for all IB Core programs: PYP (Primary Years Programme for students aged 3 to 12) and MYP (Middle Years Programme for students aged 11 to 16) and the DP (Diploma Program for students aged 17 to 19).  Our first Diploma program commencing in 2016.

IB schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that SCC believes is important for our students.
