Quality education for a better world.

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers high quality programmes of international education to a worldwide community of schools. There are more than 900,000 IB students in over 140 countries. The IB is a non-profit education foundation based in Geneva, Switzerland that originally provided university entry qualification. Today it offers three programmes that cover the years of formal education: Diploma Programme (Years 11/12), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP).

These three programmes for students aged 3 to 19 help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.

SCC has been accepted by the IBO as an IB World School for both PYP (Primary Years Programme for students aged 3 to 12) and MYP (Middle Years Programme for students aged 11 to 16).  In 2015 the College was accepted as an IB World School for the DP (Diploma Programme for grades 11 and 12), with grade 11 commencing in 2016.

These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that SCC believes is important for our students.
