Watch – BRIDGE Partnerships at SCC

Building Relationships through Intercultural Dialogue and Growing Engagement – is an intercultural understanding project which will forge ongoing school-to-school relationships between Australia and Indonesia.  Southern Christian College is one of a number of schools around Australia linked with a sister school in Indonesia.  Initiated by the Australia-Indonesia Institute (AII), the schools partnership project is funded by The Myer Foundation and the Australian Government, through AusAID.

SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Denpasar

Since 2009, Southern Christian College has been part of a sister-school relationship with SMA Muhammadiyah 1; a Muslim school in the predominantly Hindu island of Bali.  Two teachers from our sister school have visited Southern Christian College.  Two student groups and one teacher delegation have visited Bali, engaging in classes, cultural and sporting exchanges with our sister school.  Visits to SMA Muhammadiyah form a regular and, for the students, popular part of our annual trip to Indonesia.
